This Privacy Policy explains how Kawaii Emoji Battery ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), package name com.sparkbyte.emojibattery, handles information when you use our Android application. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Process Directly
The App is designed to work without an account. We process the minimum information needed to provide battery customization features:
- Customization data — the emoji stickers, battery themes, widget layouts and charging effects you select. This is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
- App preferences & local cache — settings such as your selected style, enabled/disabled state, and recently used items, stored locally for a smooth experience.
- Device & technical data — collected automatically by the SDKs below (e.g. device model, operating system version, language, country, app version, and a device advertising identifier) to deliver ads, measure performance, and diagnose crashes.
- Support communications — if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
2. Permissions We Request
Android asks for your consent before granting sensitive permissions. We request only what the features below require:

You may revoke any permission at any time in Settings → Apps → Kawaii Emoji Battery → Permissions. Some features may stop working if a required permission is revoked.
3. Accessibility Service Disclosure
Kawaii Emoji Battery may use Android's Accessibility Service to support the battery icon customization experience — specifically to detect when the battery indicator should be drawn and to position the emoji overlay correctly. This is an optional feature that you must explicitly enable.
- The Accessibility Service is used solely to provide in-app battery customization functionality.
- It does not collect, store, log, or share personal information, passwords, messages, or the content of other apps.
- It does not transmit any accessibility-derived data off your device.
- You can disable it at any time in Settings → Accessibility → Kawaii Emoji Battery.
4. Third-Party SDKs We Use
The App embeds the following third-party software development kits. Each operates under its own privacy policy, linked below.
Google AdMob
Operator: Google LLC. Purpose: Serving advertisements in the free App. Data processed: Google Advertising ID, coarse IP-derived location, device information, and ad-interaction events. Personalized vs. non-personalized ads depend on your consent, which is collected via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow where required by law (GDPR/CCPA). Google Ads privacy policy.
Google Firebase
Operator: Google LLC. Purpose: Analytics, crash reporting (Crashlytics), messaging and remote configuration. Data processed: app instance ID, device model, OS version, language, country, screen views, anonymized usage events, and crash stack traces. Firebase privacy & security.
Adjust
Operator: Adjust GmbH (an AppLovin company). Purpose: Install attribution, marketing measurement and fraud prevention. Data processed: Advertising ID, hashed device fingerprint, install timestamp and conversion events. Adjust privacy policy.
Your choices regarding these SDKs
- Reset or limit your Advertising ID: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID (or "Reset advertising ID").
- Ad personalization consent: where the UMP prompt appears, you may decline personalized ads.
- Withdraw consent: email us (see Section 13) to request access to or deletion of data associated with your device.
5. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not read your SMS or call logs.
- We do not access your contacts.
- We do not collect precise (GPS) location.
- We do not use your camera or microphone.
- We do not access your photo library beyond what you actively select.
- We do not handle or store payment card data — the App has no in-app purchases.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to data brokers.
Because the App is ad-supported, the advertising and analytics SDKs listed in Section 4 are advertising/measurement partners that process a device advertising identifier as described above.
6. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate battery customization features.
- To display advertisements that keep the App free.
- To understand which features are used and improve the App.
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect, prevent and address fraud or abuse.
7. Sharing & Third Parties
We share information only with the partners required to run the App: Google (Play distribution, Firebase, AdMob), Adjust, and, where legally required, with authorities in response to valid legal process. We do not otherwise sell or share your personal data.
8. Data Retention
- Firebase Analytics: up to 14 months (Google default).
- Firebase Crashlytics: individual crash records up to 90 days.
- Adjust: up to 24 months.
- AdMob: per Google's advertising-platform defaults.
- Support emails: up to 24 months.
- Local customization data: kept on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and similar laws, including the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising. 10. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the advertising and analytics SDKs are not configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Users
Your information may be processed on servers operated by our SDK providers in the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, our providers rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
12. Security
The App runs inside the Android application sandbox with scoped storage. Data transmitted to our SDK endpoints is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through an in-app notice and/or the Google Play release notes, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
